Despite all the features and capabilities that smartphones have these days, smartphones carry with them a list of how they can negatively impact your life. Smartphones can easily cause people to become addicted to them. They can access the internet, take pictures, upload videos, text, and many other things. They are small convenient devices, but can be distracting to the users and people around them. People bring their phones everywhere and, unfortunately, use them almost everywhere. Instances include driving while on the phone, recording videos to ridicule people, cheating, and gossip. Excessive use can cause dependency which is when someone is so used to something; they’ll start acting strangely without it.

There will be people that work vigorously to develop this technology and the people that know how to navigate virtual menus. People will know how to use their phones and accomplish many things with them, but certain people put too much responsibility on a single thing. People talk about people in text chats, post inappropriate media, and instigate aggressiveness and produce a misleading veil about others.
